# How to add custom field details to your email

1. Open the message and click **Add variable**.

3. Click the + button on the **Metafield**![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/7/0/c/e/70cef36dbfb4ac00/2_snx37g.png)
